- Although in many online shops this mouse is refered as “Laser” mouse, it has optical sensor. That’s becuase there are two versions of this mouse: 24000 CPI uses PMW3360 sensor, while 16400 CPI version uses Avago 9800 laser sensor which has 150 IPS and tracks until 30 G. Avago 9800 sensor has lots of smoothing and random acceleration, so you would not be able to develop reliable muscle memory with it, hence laser version is not recommended.
- PMW3360 sensor is in reality 12k CPI but in this mouse it’s just interpolated to 24k.
